SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – Shandong Development & Reform Commission recently issued Shandong 2017 Coal Consumption Reduction Work Action Program.

According to the program, Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Xinfa Group were ordered to shut down 2.68 million tonnes and 530,000 tonnes, respectively, of illegal aluminum capacity before the end of July 2017.

Meanwhile, these two companies were also required to shut down coal-fired power generating units built in support of these illegal aluminum capacities.
